Red and blue is definitely one of my favorite color combinations, blue is one color I want to wear a lot during this Spring. Let me share a story, there was a man whom I drove by every morning on my way to drop off my son to school, he always waved so once or twice I waved back, you know to be polite, well I noticed he waved every single time I drove by, so then it started bothering me that he knew my car. The time it freaked me out was when I was sitting in my car waiting for it to warm up facing my house so he could not see me, windws are tinted, but when I saw him through the side mirror he waved. It totally freaked me out that he knew where I live. I stopped waiving or looking his way and I haven't seen him that much, however once I saw that he lives a few blocks away. What do you think? I'm overreacting he's just being polite, or you can't trust people all the time?
I don't like taking pictures after work because I look tired and my clothes are wrinkled but the lighting is better.

I love the pretty purse my friend gave me, unfortunately the leather handle is coming apart, I hope I can find a way to fix it and still look good. Today I'm wearing my red refashioned skirt, a thrifted silk top from Banana Republic, thrifted Gap cardigan, verything is thrifted!

YAY thrifted outfits. Love them and that pin! I don't know, I think the wave seems fine if there's no chasing you up and down the street. In the country we wave at everyone (I'm in the city now but I remember well)

Well, I am a bad person to ask about this. I always want to show kindness. I would think he is probably very lonely. You are a bright spot in his day. Maybe instead of being afraid of him, you should go over and say hi. Find out a little more about him. If you still get a bad feeling you will know it is a bad idea to be nice to him. Perhaps you will find someone that is lonely and desperately in need of a friend. The world is better when we love more and fear less. That is just my opinion though...and what do I know? Certainly NOTHING about fashion!

Yeah, I guess I could be overreacting a bit out of fear, I hear so much bad stuff on the news that I distrust people a lot.
Becky you are so friendly and nice, I'm very shy so I could not go to that man and talk with him, I guess a smile once in a while don't hurt but other than that I like to keep my distance with men on the street.
I would be a little scared too, but once I found he lived close it wouldn't bother me. He's pretty much your neighbor so it's not that bad. Just say every now and then! :)
BTW: Lovely outfit, wearing red with any color makes me happy. That belt and brooch are so beautiful!!
That would probably freak me out too. I think it's tv and society that have trained me to believe every man out there who looks in my direction is plotting to attack me. He's probably just being nice, or wants to talk to you, but is trying to work up to it.
I love the outfit... I'd say its okay to keep the wave going but I'd be nervous to think he found out where you lived.

I agree with LyddieGal; we are so used to seeing horrible stuff on tv that we suspect the people around us of being criminals. Considering that he lives nearby, he is probably just a friendly neighbour!
