Feeling better now

Good day everyone! I'm feeling all sore but tomorrow I'm going to the doctor to make sure that everything was left in it's place hehe. My shoulder has been bothering me a lot so I already made an appointment. I feel humbled by all that happened with the accident, when I wrote to my cousin she told me how a lady she knows has just recently lost her 2 boys they died in an accident, my heart goes out to those mothers who lose their children. Today as I drove back home my son was trying to talk to me but I was still thinking about the car and he is so awesome sometimes it blows my mind. He said to me "don't be worried mami my aunt said it's just a car and for God it's just a car too, you're more important to Him, it's going to be okay."
And he's totally right! So I'm in a much better mood because my baby is so awesome, of course he does leave his clothes everywhere and he is messy and careless when he eats hehe but he's still amazing.

At work my friends were so nice everyone was very caring and even my students were so good. I really love my job, love all my students and the school I work at. Sure nothing is perfect, but I'm very grateful for what I have.

And also I wanted to thank everyone who has left a kind comment, thank you all so much, I really appreciate all the kind words that you take the time to post.

Okay now for today's outfit, I had to wear the scarf to cover the bruises from the seat belt, it's not that bad but they looked like hickies (they look horrible to me but some people seem to like them).
Outfit details: 100% thrifted
Chambray shirt: Liz Claiborne
Skirt: Banana Republic
Shoes: Nine West
Floral scarf: vintage (estate sale)
Vintage cameo pin: Avon
Belt: Vintage (estate sale)

I really liked how this outfit looked after all. I had to wear the cushion pump socks because these shoes hurt my toes so bad without them. This amazing cameo pin opens up and I put a picture of my son.
And this is a vintage, leather, satchel bag I thrifted this weekend, I don't love the color but for now it will work.

I hope everyone has a blessed day!

First of all I'll say that I am so sorry you were involved in the car accident, and second, I am so glad you are all right! I have only been in a minor car accident myself, but even that was scary. You start wondering what if you had driven faster etc... the-what-ifs can be never-ending. Your son sounds like a very smart kid, and he is so right about the whole thing: a car is just a car, and your (and his) safety is the most important thing!

Also, I love your outfit; the scarf is a nice touch even if it serves a more practical purpose today, and that skirt is so flattering on you, your legs look super-long!
